Igor Zavalyshyn’s personal web corner

I am finishing my PhD in Distributed Computing (EMJD-DC) at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Portugal, and UCLouvain, Belgium, under supervision of Prof Nuno Santos (INESC-ID,IST), Prof Ramin Sadre (UCLouvain) and Prof Peter Van Roy (UCLouvain).

I obtained my master degree in distributed computing from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) back in 2015.

Research

My research interests lie in the field of computer and distributed systems security. In my PhD I concentrated on privacy and security issues of modern IoT systems, and in particular smart home platforms.
